The Past
Our History
Himley Country Hotel stands in a distinctive Victorian building with origins in the 19th century, originally constructed as a school in the village of Himley, near Dudley in the West Midlands.
The building was carefully converted into a welcoming hotel, preserving much of its original character — including the striking high beams of what would become the conservatory restaurant.
The Present
The Hotel Today
A highlight of the property is the conservatory restaurant — now home to Blazers Restaurant — featuring the original high Victorian beams that give the space its warmth and charm.
Today, Himley Country Hotel offers 65 en-suite rooms for couples, solo travellers, families and groups. Three flexible event suites make us an ideal venue for conferences, celebrations and special occasions.
Situated next to the historic Himley Hall and Park, and just 19 miles from Birmingham Airport, the hotel is perfectly placed for both leisure and business guests.
